There is a lump under my armpit a little smaller than a marble. I am really worried about it.
I am a generally healthy fifteen-year-old girl.
The lump is kind of red, and my mother thinks it is an ingrown hair, and my aunt thinks it is a pimple. It hurts when I press on it. It feels like there is a ball under my skin. It is uncomfortable when I put my arm down sometimes. There is alot of weird stuff going on with my body lately and I feel as if it is trying to tell me something.

Please respond, I am really worried.

Bookish.

How long have you had it?

I will agree with your mom. We have a lot of hair follicles under our arms that can get clogged and hair can be ingrown in there. Keep an eye on it - if it gets worse (DO NOT PICK AT IT! That is bound to make it worse) or it gets larger, etc, let your mom know you need to see a doctor.

It will probably go away on its own though.
