ok, i have a very weird situation here. I don't have spectacular dental-hygiene habits but its far from the worse. I brush at least twice a day and floss every other, or if there's a specific need to do so more. I also get plenty of calcium and drink craploads of tea.

But recently my lower front teeth have turned a weird shade of yellow on the backside. And the sides are visibly darkened and slightly more translucent that normal. to note, i also have a permanent retainer on those teeth- where the discoloration is.

The only thing i can think of that could possibly be contributing to the situation is my acid reflux. It sounds idiotic but recently my acid reflux has been *really* bad recently, and maybe it's possible that regurgitated stomach acid could somehow react with the metal?
