Pregnancy can be a rough ride on the emotional roller coaster! The best thing to do is stuff. Exercise. Walking is incredible for helping with emotions and feeling like you accomplished something.

The morning sickness is a tricky one because what works for one woman doesn't always work for another. You can try the tried and true like crackers and ginger and preggo pops. Or maybe the cure for you will be something else. Eat small meals if you feel full.

Get pregnancy books. They will help you communicate with your bf how you feel and show him that everyone goes through it.

When are you getting married?

You are still going to school? Good for you. Don't stop. Being pregnant and having a child doesn't mean you can't continue and further your education. It will be harder, sure, but it isn't any reason to stop!

first off, congrats on your pregnancy and getting married!
thats a wonderful thing to experience, but i can only imagine a little more hecktic when expecting a baby at the same time. My fiance and i are planning a wedding about a year after our baby is born...but at first when we told his family they seemed to push for marriage, but we told them we are going to wait and its our decision.
Some ways to stay happy right now, are having some me-time for yourself. A nice shower, a nap, relaxing on the couch, having a cry if you need it, hanging out with a close friend, eating a comfort food..the littlest things can go along way while pregnant, at least they work for me when i get a little down.
Morning sickness, a few tips i recieved while having bad morning sickness at the beginning of my pregnancy was eating some un-salted crackers before getting out of bed, dry toast, drinking some water, also some women get a bit more sick when they take their materna first thing in the morning, so i take mine in the afternoon time, it settles in me better and doesnt make me rush to the toilet like i used to when i took it first thing with my breakfast.
Instead of eating 3 big meals a day, have some smaller meals to help you feel not so full, like a few crackers, granola bars, a fruit or veggies any healthy little snacks that you can eat throughout the day and then try eating meals a little later on like dinner.
As for your soon to be husband thinking your mad at him, explain to him your feeling emotional or angry and its not towards him, its just a feeling your having right now and maybe he'll talk to you about it. and help you not feel so angry.

i hope this was a little helpful for you!

good luck!

Hiya....well i never had morning sickness with any of my pregnancys but god didnt i prepare for it anyway...i went to a health food shop and bought loads of crysalised ginger and ginger syrup that i put with boiling water, i bought preggy pops from mumstheword off the internet and i also bought a morning sickness cd that i listened to while in bed before going to sleep...you can get air mists from these sites aswell to help morning sickness.....maybe i never got sick because all these things worked but i also might be one of those lucky people who don't experience morning sickness at all...my mum didnt iether though and she didn't use anything like that.its trial and error.Good luck,Jade.

I really recommend getting your bf a pregnancy book, I highly recommend Pregnancy Sucks for Men, not only is it really informative but it's actually really funny, and entertaining. It helped my husband a lot realize all the crazy things that are happening to my body and the emotional roller coaster I was on, as well as all the future stuff to prepare too. As far as dealing with your own morning sickness and stuff well my only advice is just to try to make the best of it and keep telling yourself it'll be over soon. If your 9 weeks now than you should only have another 3 or so weeks left. You'll be amazed at how great life gets once your out of your first trimester. I was a miserable pregnant woman in my first tri-mester and wasn't loving the whole pregnancy thing, but its weird it's like you wake up one day and the morning sickness is gone, you have your energy back, you don't cry at the drop of a hat, and all of a sudden it gets fun. Don't get me wrong the 2nd tri-mester has it's whoa's too, but not as bad, or at least not in my opinion. So hang in there and know there's a light at the end of the tunnel. And just get as much rest as you can, sleep makes a big difference if nothing else its that much more time your not awake feeling poorly.

Hey im not older and all that experianced but I am also 17 and pregnant. So if you like I love to talk and I love new friends so e-mail me some time! As for the morning sickness...it sucks...Lol. I found that if you do everything really slowly in the morning it helps. I keep crackers in my bed side table drawer...they help ALOT! If you have any other questions e-mail me, im always areound somewhere!

Wow! I'm 17, 9 weeks pregnant, getting married on July 4th because its the day we started dating, are keeping the date we decided before we found out I was preggo, will continue school online, and art teacher is one of my career choices! Long lost twin? haha, kidding.

As for as morning sickness, I have to eat something right when I wake up in the morning until my stomach is full, even if its something really small like a bit of fruit. Then I have to eat like every couple hours to keep my stomach from being irritated, verses meals. Because you get full quicker and don't feel like eating big portions, make sure you get enough nutrients through frequent eating.

With your hubby, just remind him when you're in your good moods that you love him. Tell him to read up on hormones and he should begin to understand and be more accepting. My man just thinks its cute when I get grumpy because he knows its because of our baby, and he deals with it and lets me get my way most of the time and does little things for me.

Get excited about our wedding by thinking about how happy you'll be to be marrying the man you love! And being able to share your fiance & baby's last name.

Congratulations! It's so nice to see a teen on the right track (even if some would say you're getting married and raising children a little young, you just have more energy!). While I can't help with the pregnancy thing, I can tell you that in two months you will be 17 weeks, and therefore in your 2nd semester and the general consensus is that 2nd semester is the best. A lot of the symptoms you have now will probably have disappeared and you'll be at your best! Good luck Smile

It's not a good idea to say ALL of anything is good or bad, unless you are 100% SURE. The best thing, if a person is unsure of something, is to ask their doctor about that particular medication, food, or whatever happens to be in question.
