Q: TB in Lymph nodes

HI,
I have TB in Lymph nodes of my arm pit. I was treated with ISONIAZID and ETHAMBUTOL for 1 year ( as I have side effects for Rifampin and PZA) and also a surgery was done 9 months back and the doctor removed my infected lymph node. My treatment was completed and stopped the medicines a week back. But now I feel pain again in my arm pit where the surgery was done. I m scared if the TB has come back again. Are there any blood tests to check in your body (lymph nodes) if TB was there or not? My doctor told the only way to test whether the TB is there in Lymph nodes is to do the Biopsy.

PLease let me know. I was treated for 1 year for TB. SO is there a possibility for the recurrence of TB again?

I appreciate if any doctor or Specialist can respond to this question.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
NK

I am going through a similar experience. My arm pit is swollen and looks like the TB has relapsed. I need some serious info on this.
