Hiya,
I'm 23 and have been treated for MSGN (mesangiocapillary glomerulonephritis) for 5 years. My condition is currently stable - my blood pressure is good (110/70 when last checked), my creatinine was around the 250 mark, there's only a small protein leak and my haemoglobin levels are good.
My question is, does anyone know if it's safe for me to have a tattoo? Will it be likely that i will have an adverse reaction to it? I've had piercings which have been fine, but i realise that a tattoo is different.
The tattoo studio i would go to is safe and sterile (they use gloves, sterilise equipment etc - i've checked) so what do people think?
Any response is much appreciated.

peace

Ria xx

I'm not a Dr. so I don't know if it would affect you or not. Maybe ask someone who has both (tattoo anad MSGN). I personally don't see a problem. I would love to get a tattoo.
