I have a symptomatic Tarlov cyst on my lumbar spinal cord with significant back pain.

Over the last year or so I have also developed pain in my right leg that has since progressed into both legs and worsened significantly on the right. In the morning it feels like an icy numbness. By mid-morning, my leg begins to vibrate or pulsate with waves of tingling pain. By 3-5 pm, it can feel like I'm walking on a blender of razor blades. This pain can become horrific. I had hoped that somehow it would go away on it's own, but after this passage of time I simply feel like I'm living in the movie - Groundhog Day - and wake to simply experience the same scenario over and over again....

I am a working mother. I have little choice, other than to manage the pain as best I can.

Do you have any suggestions as to the type of pain management or medication that would help with this condition? Can you tell the type of medical practice that would be best able to help me with this condition.

Tarlov Cyst or Spinal inflammation
Are you sure the symptoms derive from th Tarlov Cyst?
If not check out lumbar spine.
See a reheumatologist in any case.I have tarlov cysts(3 of them)but I've concluded that they are asymptomatic as in 70% of cases.
A NSAID drug to reduce inflammation in the spine could be diagnostic if it relieves pain.
I wish you the best of health in the future. Mike
