Hi, I recently had a diagnose of hydatid (cyst) caused by Tapeworm in liver. I am in South East Asia and my doctor told me that the X-ray showed it is getting bigger now and I should get a surgery to remove (withdraw) it. I am worried if the surgery is dangerous and life threatening. Please let me know as soon as possible if it is alright to have that surgery.
