Hello all.
My mother has pain in her arm. A friend of hers got her this sort of tape/bandage when she was visiting another country. My mother says the tape really helps her the first day or two in relieving her pain. She wears the tape on the lateral side of her upper arm. However, the tape becomes less sticky and then is ineffective. We don't know what the tape/bandage is called and we would really like to find some more for her.
It is black colored with little holes in it, no more than .5 centimeter in diameter. It comes in a size of about 4 inches by 4 inches. You just peel off a cover off of it to reveal the sticky side and apply it to your arm.
If anyone has any ideas as to what this might be, please post your suggestions.
Thank You.

Re: tape for pain
I'm not sure...could be lidoderm - that's a topical anesthetic that's available here by prescription. I know that some countries sell narcotics over the counter, so maybe it was something like what we call Duragesic here - did it kill the pain locally, or was it as if she took a pill - systemically. Did it 'numb' the area?
