Hi, there. For the past six years i have been having what i assume is bad anxiety and an overall feeling of not being attachted to reality. Lately i have been really considering going to a doctor to seek help and a diagnosis to try and make sense of what is going so i get on the path to making myself feel some sort of emotion again. I don't have a regular doctor whom i visit and was wondering whether anyone had some advice on how i can tell a doctor about the way i've been feeling. Feel lost for words all the time and have a hard time expressing myself coherently, so i don't know what words i should say and whether the doc would believe me or not. If anyone has any suggestions or help please reply.

Thanks:)

Hi.
I feel the best thing to do in this situation is to be honest. We've come a long way in medicine as well doctors noticing anxiety causing a mound of problems. We get stressed out and things happen we aren't too sure of, or we become scared. We fear they might see us as crazy. In my opinion, I think you should find a doctor who specializes in this field and it's someone you can trust. I wish you luck!
