I have been taking yaz for about 4-5 months now and I've had always been spotting a week before i take my white pills and during was a normal period. But this month I had been spotting before I take my white pills but I am on my second white pill I haven't had a "real period." I'm only spotting. Is this normal?

that is normal, with most birth control. I took yaz for 2 months, and hated it. it really screwed me up. when i got my first period after starting the yaz, i bled for 3 weeks straight. I also had severel yeast infections from the yaz. i hated it. lol. yaz is a very poweful birth control, and i cant tell you- its not for everyone! if it gets to be to annoying, and your cycles are just not normal enough for you, then theres no shame in switching pills. good luck!

I was also on Yaz, and had spotting. When I went to see my doctor about it, he suggested upping the dosage, meaning changing the kind of pill. Yaz is a lower dosage than Yasmin, so I switched to Yasmin and I was fine. You may just need more than the .3mg or whatever it is.

Good luck!
