Q: taking Yasmin after laparascopy

hi
i'm 26, single and have 2 sisters. both of them had endometriosis. so they had laparascopy. my doctor told me because they had endometriosis, surely you have too. so i had a laparascopy surgery last week.
doctor said that endometriosis was in primeval state and it was not so serious. but i should take tablet (yasmin) from 5th day of cycle till i want to be pregnant.
my question is "what happened if i don't take these tablets? is it possible that endometriosis return agian?"
