Q: Taking pregnancy test ?

I have been having "symptoms" that correlate with early pregnancy symptoms. Aunt Flo was due yesterday, she hasn't shown her ugly face yet. I took a home pregnancy test yesterday after work and it said negative. I have been reading online and it says sometimes to wait till the end of the week? or X amount of days past the date of a period to show up positive... when do I need to try to take another test?

You can test as soon as your period is late, but I normally give myself a week or maybe a little more. If your period does not come within a week of your period, test again first thing in the morning.

I don't think there's a set amount of days to wait after a missed period before testing.
