Plan B should be taken within 5 days (120 hours) of unprotected sex and can reduce the risk of pregnancy up to 89%. But it is more effective the sooner you take it.
I wouldnt stress over it, wait for your period.

Plan B has been known to mess up your periods, by making them come earlier or later.

Okay the sooner the better on advice as I am in my Junior year of college, I am a college athlete(runner), and I do go out with my team and party a good bit. My boyfriend (of 3 years) and I had sex on November 18 he came in me we planned on getting plan B which we did on November 19, but had sex again that morning and he came in me again. I took plan B around 18 hours after he came in me the first time.
I was also in my ovulation days on the 18&19 and we had sex again the night of the 19 but he pulled out.
I started spotting on November 24-26. It was not red blood, it was brownish pink, not enough for a tampon, but when i wiped i saw it and there was a little bit in my panies and it stopped after 3 days.
I took a pregnancy test on Nov. 25 (Negative) and on Nov. 29 (Negative) I know it could have possibly been to early to take a pregnancy test, but I took it for a piece of mind.
I called my gyno and she basically told me I was going to have to wait it out and just see, I am now 3 days away from when I am supposed to start my period Nov. 7..
I have taken Plan B before ( I know if this is a scare hello BC just havent done it bc i got bad headaches and made me gain weight) and have never had the brown bleeding....now I read on the internet that it could possibly be Implantation bleeding and thats when I got scared.
I have been nauseous on and off at certain times, dizzy, hot then cold, my nipples were super sore a couple days ago now my breast are swollen and sore and I am super moody and hot....but as we all know those can be PMS symptoms also..
The internet is scary and I have seen people posting how plan B does not work esp when you are in your ovulating week!
Someone please please ease my mind!!
and if this even makes sense now i am dreaming that my pregnancy test are positive and after the bleeding i just feel like i know i am, kinda motherly? like scared to hit my stomach, maybe im just scared! SOMEONE HELP!

plan b didn't work for me.. my LMP was july 14th, had unprotected sex july 29th.. took morning after pill on july 31.. started spotting around august 9th, it was incredibly light light light pink but i ticked that off as a side effect of the morning after pill along with the exhaustion and sore boobs.. turns out i'm 13 weeks pregnant

Plan b and pregnancy
Ok I am writing this to tell my story and maybe put some things into perspective. Last year I had an abortion after a failed Next choice pill although it was most likely my fault bc I took it a little over 24 hours after unprotected sex and the second pill a little over an hour late by accident bc everywhere was out of plan b and I couldn't wait any longer-but planned parenthood has them always and cheaper than drugstores. I did not have any side effects as far as nausea, bleeding, headaches etc...i did however fall sick with a head cold which was odd bc i never get sick. anyway about two weeks later my boobs were super sore and a cup size bigger and before I took a pregnancy test I knew I was pregnant because I just felt different. I took a pregnancy test a day or two before my period and low and behold it read pregnant on the digital clear blue easy test. I was freaking out and I felt I had no other choice in my life at the time. I'm tired of ppl making you feel bad and calling you a baby killer ...that is horrible and disgusting to me every woman has their own choice it's their bodies and if you feel you are not emotionally mentally or financially stable it is your choice! I can not say that enough. Do not let ppl make you feel bad about a choice you had to make it was very hard and a very depressing moment in my life but the procedure is not painful at all I don't even remember it because I chose to do it with Anastesia . But it is hard mentally and emotionally and I felt like all I wanted was for it to be back in my belly but that feeling subsides as the hormones leave your body. Now it is a year later and I had yet another pregnancy scare. My boyfriend decided he was going to do what he wanted without pulling out and I was right around the time of ovulation. 8 hours later I took plan b. about a week later I felt what I remembered as pregnancy symptoms. My boobs were huge and sore and I had mild cramping and headaches but these are all side effects of plan b so I tried not to freak out I took 2 pregnancy tests 1 2 weeks early and then a second one 4 days before my expected period - both negative but taken early so you never know...well about 2 weeks after taking plan b my soreness of my boobs started to subside and this morning I got my period...so don't freak out if you experience very early signs of pregnancy it may be plan b side effects. I am so relieved right now but the best bet is to use a condom. O and btw I got pregnant from the first time I let anyone c** inside me so it can happen to you ladies be careful and god bless!

I took the plan b pill within an hour of unprotected sex, however my boyfriend did not ejaculate inside me, but anytime he is aroused he has very small traces of pre-ejaculation fluid which may or may not carry sperm due to scientists research. The chances of being pregnant are slim but i happened to notice that i am ovulating and am on the last two days of ovulation. When it comes to the plan b pill the sooner the better and thats why i went out and took it right away. I just need some answers or advice because I'm scared.

Yes, if you take the Plan B the day before ovulation or ovulation day, it is less effective.

The chances is still very low that you will be pregnant, but it is possible.
