I have been taking Metformin since june my periods have been regular since then. I got my period on July 14 and again on august 14. I had sex in august 20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27. I was wondering could I be pregnant. I have taken several hpt and they all came back negative, but it\'s only been three weeks since i had sex. I had a blood test done on yesterday and I am nervous really trying to have a baby. I have a 11 year old daughter but was younger then and don\'t remember anything from that pregnacy.

Hi
Welcome to ehealthforum.
If your periods were regular while being on Metformin treatment, there are chances that you were having regular ovulation. The absence of periods could suggest possibility of pregnancy. Look out for symptoms indicating early pregnancy like sore and tender breasts and nipples, increased hunger, increased frequency of urination, bloating, mild cramps, back pain, mood changes, headaches, fatigue.
Sometimes urine pregnancy tests can keep showing you false negative results due to less concentration of pregnancy hormone (HCG) in urine during early pregnancy. Visit your gynecologist for an examination and a blood beta HCG level test to confirm pregnancy (it can detect pregnancy accurately than the urine pregnancy tests as early as 11 days post conception).
Take care.
