Q: Taking Lexapro during pregnancy ?

I am 34 and have been taking Lexapro for a few years - have tried coming off of it but became severely depressed again without it. I am newly married and we are thinking about becoming pregnant in the next year or so. I am wondering if anyone has experienced pregnancy while taking Lexapro or a similar anti-depressant medication (SSRI) and especially what the outcome was with your baby - is he/she healthy today? Do you know of others who have taken these medications while pregnant and if so, how is their child's health? I am very nervous, stressed out and wondering how to handle the issue of being reliant on Lexapro while also wanting to become pregnant and have a healthy child.
