Q: Taking birth control wrong ?

I started taking it the day i got on my period, but instead of taking the white pills i started on the green sugar pills. I take a 28 day pack. So did i start wrong and if so how can i fix it.

you're supposed to take the first pill in the pack dear..how was that not clear?
