I have been having headaches for ages, i sometimes get a pain by the presure points by the side of my eyes perticularly the right. However i seem to always be having a tingly sensation across my forehead. I am not sure whether it effects my behaviour because i while i am having these headaches i sometimes act very stupid and hyper and i know that i am doing it. It also makes me feel lazy because it takes away my motivation to do things ( if i had any in the first place) simple things such as tidying and cleaning and studing etc. I am 21 and have had these headaches for a very long time. i have seen a doctor and he said that my blood presure was slightly high however he said that could be anything. Years ago the tingling in my head got to the point where i felt so dizzy that i had to sit down but it quickly passed. I want to request a ct and mri etc however i am afraid because i have read other peoples problems and they seem to be having no luck in finding the answer. i also sleep a lot

Headache and Migraines Answer A19001
Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

It is difficult to diagnose the cause of headaches on net. Sinusitis, refractive errors of the eye, migraine, cluster headaches, brain tumors, high blood pressure, tension headaches, temporal arteritis, pinched cervical spinal nerve, poor or disturbed sleep etc are several causes of headaches. Dental pain and ear ache can cause similar symptoms.

Needless to say, a persisting headache should be investigated. Please consult a headache and migraine specialist to rule out these causes one by one. Take care!
