I had my first series of injections, due to arthritis in my knee. I had back surgery 10 years ago and doctor severed illiac vein, femoral etc. Had PE and since little circulation in leg. On SCD pump to keep leg swelling down and blood flowing. Questions: Cannot have knee replacement ever due to circulation problem. In severe pain already with neuropathy, now this in addition. After the injections I felt a little better, other than some stiffness. Not a sissy so I kept going. A week or two after the last injection I have had pain in almost every joint in my body, my neck is stiff, me elbows, my ankles everywhere I ache. I feel fine other than the joint pain. Could this be part of the effects of Synvisc? I am confused as to why all the sudden I am having this problem. I fell horrible, like a flu with out the stomach upset or fever. I am scared. Could this just be a side effect. Please write me to let me know if you think this is what it is. I do appreciate it. This site is great and I think you are most knowledgeable with the different side affects. Thanks so much. Mrs. Hood 54 year old female in otherwise good health other than leg, coumadin therapy since dvt postop and pain medicine for nerve damage from post op severe swelling in limb with veinous damage. 10 years ago. You will be greatly appreciated for your help!
