I have had this condition for over 20 yrs, I have admitted my self to the hospital 2 times over this condition, ( because it scared me this much).
The first time they checked me out it was like , no big deal to them it seemed, they did an EKG, sonagram, and had me wear a halter monitor for like 2 days, with no avail, they didnt even say what they thought was wrong with me and discharged me. The 2nd time was alot better it seemed i admitted my self because of the (episodes) that happened to me
it seems like each time that i have an event (seizure) it takes me longer and longer to come around, Very disoriented, sweating, vomiting like bile fluids, With loss of vision, and usually i go all the way out and fall over, it feel like i am dying when it happens. I have expressed this to the hospitals i have been to with no avail, This last time i was at the hospital they did blood work, EEG,EKG, Sonogram, They had me on the Cardio floor checking my heart, (found it was inlarged) and they said no need to worrie about it.They also found that while i was up and moving my heart rate dropped below 50bpm. I thought an inlarged heart meant something wasn't right?I also had an nurologist check me out, and he said i either had epilepsy or syncope , and that was all that was said, because i have no medical insurance (i think) and they didnt want to proceed with out insurance. so when it was over the checking me out they said we are gonna release you, I asked whats wrong with me and they said Syncope/epilepsy either or. and then i said should i drive? the nurse said fi you want to, with my condition i don' t ever know when i am going to have an attack they are that sudden, it might happen 3 or 4 times in a week and then again it might not happen for a month or several months. this condition is really freaking me out, why doesn't any one want to diagnose me for sure? Also my family has a history of heart/stroke problems. can anyone help with any better ideas for me to do? already been to 2 hospitals, what next? Its not a good feeling , when it happens, it's like i am dying! please help if you can.

Extremely eHealthy
Go see a cardiologist and have them assess for long QT syndrome. This is an arrhythmia that occurs and causes syncopal episodes. Not all cardiologist check carefully for this syndrome. Go to www.sads.org and try to find a cardiologist in your area that is familiar with LQT syndrome.

I Think Doctors (Most) Not All , Just Guess...
Some Listen To You Some Just Go On Instinct.
I Dont Know What It Will Take For Someone To Listen To Me About My Seizure Activity,
When I Tell Any Medical Professional About My Conditions Most, Just Look At Me & Say, " Oh You Just Faint "!
& Im Like " NO "!
If You Could Experience What I Go Thru When A Seizure Happens You Would Know, Then They Seem To Just Brush It Off As, " Fainting " Bull**** I Say...
As Far As Figuring Out Just What Is Going On I Guess I Will Have To go To A Better Doctor/Hospital Ect...
Thats If I Make It Thru My Next Seizure.
