i had a lota symptoms that made believe i was prego, they lasted 2-3 weeks and dissapeared, but my problem is its been a month maybe more and stil no sign of a period! no cravins for chocolate, no period cramps, i get mild cramps on and off but nothin that says da da da... im here! i usually get prego symptoms later in the 3rd month of pregnancy! so its a bummer for me! hang in there, dont go crazy yet, i thought my symptoms were'rnt goin anywhere either! keep me up dated, its storys like krystaljohnson23 that scares the livin crap out of us girls!!LOL!

Thanks Amandablue... I'm just waiting to take the test... I started to get what seemed to be "period cramps" yesterday. Hopefully---it is what I think it is... LOL... Either way though---I'd be happy. PS: krystaljohnson23's post is scary...

LOL , im stil getin cramps on and off, noticed sumtimes when i mov about, but stil no period! i think if there was a chance it should hav cum bout now! iv neva skipped a period in my whole life so it would be odd if i did, i think thats what bothers me!another day, another wait, what to do? lol uuggghh......hate the waitin game and not knowin, im feel the same as u , i dont mind what happens as long as i know the truth!LOL

Hey amandablue! I was wondering... How long are you going to wait before taking the HPT? My cycle ended on May 30th (stopped taking bc pills), I had unprotected sex on June 3rd and 4th, I was supposed to ovulate on the 6th, so when should I take the test? It's been a little over 2 weeks since I did the deed. When do you think I should take it?

i dont think u hav to much to worry
i think theres a slim chance for most girls to get prego that soon
ur body needs to cum rite inorder to ovulate
i wouldnt worry that much
id wait just ova a month to test
becos that way uv given ur period time to cum and if u are prego it'll show up easier

The week is going by real slow... LOL... It has only been a week and a half since the deed. For some reason---I was thinking 2 1/2! I started cramping a few days ago and thought---it's PMS... I'm expecting my period this Sunday. But actually--I'm expecting it after Father's Day! Damn--means I can't check for another week or so... I have a question--is it safe for me to have unprotected sex now (since it takes a while for the body to adjust)? My fiance and I have been having unprotected sex almost every day since June 3rd. Am I at risk? We're going on a trip next Wednesday so I'll take the HPT when I get back. I'll let you know how it goes. I am actually planning to head to a clinic on Monday for a blood test. I don't know yet, but I'll let you know... Take care..

i did research and may woman hav fallen prego straight away, it is not uncommon but also these woman very very lucky, there are only a few
u can get prego anytime even on the pill
getin prego on the pill is rare
if u are havin sex regulary like me then yes we'll stand a chance of getin prego
its only been 10 days so there is little chance of u bein prego but neva impossible
the question is "do u feel lucky?"lol
im so tired of waitin that i dont even worry bout it anymore, just waitin for a clue or sign, stil tryin to decide when to take test
just remember if the test is neg it also might be too early for testin, so u not out the woods yet
and u can hav a period and be prego

best way to do it at the end of the day if u realy wanna be sure is to go to the doc for blood test and examination, beware of docs too, i read bout woman havin stupid docs too

OK... Nevermind what I said earlier... Checked my calendar and yeah---it's been 2 1/2 weeks... I'm supposed to start my period this week (which explains the cramps). I took a HPT today and it came out negative! I'm going to take another test if I don't get it by Father's Day. Although I'm not out of the loop yet, I feel somewhat relieved... And I'd have to say---that was quite an experience. I've never taken a HPT before... LOL... Anyway, we'll see at the end of the week. Honestly---I was a little disappointed. I guess I sorta hoped it would come out positive! Oh well---I guess it just wasn't my time. If anything---I'm glad I quit smoking... Yay! 2 weeks nicotine-free! LOL... I'll keep you posted... thats why i havn taken a prego test yet , i want to wait and be absolutely sure i can take it cos i think i would stand a beta chance of getin a more definite result.well its the 15 june. my last period on the pill started 6 weeks ago

if i were to a period i think it would be due now
strangely enough iv had no sign of period
cramps easin down
get dizzy when gettin up
but nothin else to report yet
so now i think i can go test cos i waited long enough although there is always a chance that even if u prego it may not show up yet,damn

I'm still having bad cramps... No period yet... Uggh... I read that HPTs can detect as early as 14 DPO. You're up! LOL... I don't believe that I still need to wait for my period. I usually get it on the Thurday of my inactive pill. So technically---I should be getting it this Thursday. I'm leaving tomorrow but I plan to bring a HPT with me! LOL. These cramps feel like "period cramps". The only thing is that I haven't experienced "period cramps" since I started taking Birth Control pills. I'm supposed to begin a new pack of BC pills this Sunday. Should I hold off, or should I start the pack? Let me know the results of your test.

bc doesnt affect baby if ur prego so i would test and if its negative then start ur pills!i plannin to do the same, i dont see any other signs exept dizzyness and few on and off cramps. i hav 2 children already so i know how i feel when sumthins up howeva no matter how many times ur prego each pregnanct is different!iv read women that had bad symptoms the first 2 pregies and the 3rd one they had no or very little symptoms, yeah i know this info not helpin me, cos thats my situation!so i need to find time to do a hpt then start my pills!cant wait around foreva! what to do?LOL

im just gonna carry on as normal! remember u cant worry bout sumthin if u dont know bout it! this makes sense, we'r both stand a higher chance of not bein prego,only a few woman are lucky to fall prego early,how lucky do u feel?LOL

I was looking for answers to my problem and i found this. i was on birth control but i stopped on friday. my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex on thursday and then saturday i had wierd cramping and spotting. do you think i could be pregnant or is it from stopping birthcontrol???

we'r goin to take tests and if its negative we'r gonna start bc again
bc does not affect baby if it shows up later
most woman take a while fot their bodies to adjust after stoppin the pill, so u wil hav alota symptoms that'll drive u crazy and convince u that ur prego
dont fall into that trap just yet
u need to ovulate first
only a smal percentage of woman fal prego, just luck of the draw, but most likely not
so dont panic til a test is taken and u feel fine, then u can start ur bc again
goin to the doc to be 100% sure is always the best
so put a halt on all the panic stations, u hav to be patient now and play the waitin game

I know how you feel. The waiting drove me nuts! I took the HPT the other day and it came out negative. I was kinda disappointed. I really did think I was pregnant. The crazy thing is that the side effects of getting off the pill are quite similar, if not, the same as early pregnancy symptoms: sore breasts/nipples, frequent urination, body aches, cramps, dizziness, nausea, etc. Like amandablue said---you need to take the HPT to confirm that you are pregnant. I may have taken the test too early--so I plan to wait for my period until Sunday. If if doesn't come by then, I will retest. Amandablue's right... You need to be patient. Don't drive yourself nuts like we did. In my case---I got excited (like i said--i really hoped i was pregnant) and then ended up becoming disappointed when the test read negative. Just wait it out and take the test about the time you're supposed to get your period. Take care. Hope this helps.

congrats, yes i think it should be like that cos its ur first period,might ease after that dependin how ur cycle is , i found i had less pain and sypmtoms when i was on the pill so im expectin major cramps too,u might also hav alot more bleedin off the pill than on the pill, that was the diff as well, i prefered less bleedin on the pill. sounds like ur out the clear!dont think ur prego! so now its my turn, stil no signs yet of anythin, very quiet,mmmmmm bye for now

im proof that u can hav little symptoms and be prego
so for now im guess im 4-5 weeks, my symptoms are dizziness when gettin up, aweful tastes(aromat that i luv so dearly stinks like feet,my sub sandwich tasted like sand/dirt) boobs got bigger, cramps on and off, very emotional,mood swings like im gonna explode, tiredness,not bein able to control my diet(kept eatin - always hungry when full) addicted to veg/potjie kos, sleepin pattern way off, these are sum of my symptoms that iv noticed but had excuses for them so it didnt bother me until i did a test. i did my test 11-30 at night and the little pink stripes werent shy!they were pretty much happy to show up straight away!! hope all my info has helped any ladies, waitin does help cos its easier to get the answer later on!!! my philosophy! oh and another thing is my daughter rubs my tummy ,kids pick up things and know sumthins up,she even told her hairdresser my mommys havin a baby! i was shocked and thought she was tryin to be funny! oh and the final last symptom which to me was the worst was that i was forgetful and so stupid ,i mean i would misplace things too and hav no clue where i just put it, so watch out!
