Q: Symptoms of spondylosis
asked by: DoctorQuestion on March 4th, 2009
for sometime now i have been experiencing a tingling sensation in my left hand and fingers and my left arm feels cold but is not cold to touch. my arm feels ice cold when i lie down and the sensation is alot more noticable. I have also experienced pain/discomfort behind my left shoulder blade. I have also noticed that my eyes feel tight and have had them checked by optician yesterday and all ok. I seem to be getting more headaches also. I work alot on a computer and not sure if this has anything to do with it. thank you

Tingling and cold sensations in the left hand and pain in the left shoulder could be due to nerve compression caused by spine arthritis (spondylosis). You can request an x-ray image of the neck spine to confirm or exclude neck spondylosis.

The headache could be due to a million reasons including excessive work in front of the computer. Neck spondylosis can also cause a tension headache.
