Hi to all i am a new member.

I have been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries and have been told that to get pregnant i am more than likely going to need meds to boost hormones to help my eggs mature for ovulation, which is why i only tend to have periods every sort of 10-11 mnths, give or take.

I am waiting to have an appointment to see a gyno, but in the mean time have had extrmely sore boobs, on and off salty taste in my mouth, which starts small but gets to the point where i cannot taste anything else, and i get abdominal pains, which i used to get just before i was diagnosed, not like achey period pains though, different, hard to describe. I know this is soooo much to take in but i thought i would just try my luck as i have a bit of a wait b4 my appointment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank-you. rainbow

Don't accept the response that you need hormones to help you get pregnant with PCOS.

I have had it for years. I was treated on and off with a diabetic med called metformin.

I have had 5 pregnancies - my first resulted in my beautiful son (naturally conceived), I then had 3 consecutive miscarriages and now am pregnant once more and it's looking good.

Get a pregnancy test and check.

Good luck

a friend of mine got pregnant with that disorder AND a inverted uterus. She ended up pregnant 5 times but only had 2 kids (miscarried) In the end she DID have to have everything removed but she still got two kids out of it and adopted a couple children(she was a foster parent)
