Q: symptoms of MS after giving birth ?

I had a baby 9 months ago and since then have had sharp pain in my lower back. I have been putting up with it but then started to notice some weird feelings in my legs. They feel very weak like there is not enough power going to them and the right thigh can sometimes ache. They can sometimes be shaky too.

I asked the GP the other day and she just referred me for physio as I had normal power and sensation.

Problem is now I have the same weird feeling in my right arm - just feels really weak and tingly? Still have full power and sensation on the outside but it doesn't feel right at all to me.

At first I thought my leg symptoms might have had something to do with my backache but now my arm has started to be affected, I'm starting to think about MS............

I would make an appt with a qualified neurologist to rule out a pinched nerve, etc.

He/She would be best qualified since you have tingling...there are specific tests...like an EMG to check the signals between your brain and certain limbs, etc.

Best Wishes & congrats on your new baby,

Zig
