I have had some slight symptoms of
pregnancy, but didn't do a test as I have
been using contraception. However I have
since had 2-3 weeks of unusual bleeding,
abdominal pains on the lower left (I have
pcos but this pain is much lower) the pain
would feel as if it was spreading when it
intensified.
The bleeding is unusual and not at all
what I would normally see from a period.
Some days it's heavy and some days it's
not as bad but the blood is changing to
bright red to a browny colour but again
I've not seen blood like it before from a
period. there have been fewer clots than I
would normally have (I have a blood defect
and there are usually a lot of clots) and
a light red oval clot thing that didn't
look right, it was about the size of the
end digit of my thumb.
Yesterday I did two tests which both came
up with a slight blue mark on the positive
line which then faded, but the test I did
today showed nothing (but I did this one
in poorer light conditions) so I am unsure
of what this means.
I have also been more tired than usual and
for about a week leading up to and another
week and a half during the bleeding I
would have dizzy spells where I would
almost collapse if I was standing or feel
like I was falling if I was sitting or
laying down.
I have listed most of the symptoms and I
hope someone can help me.

It sounds like a miscarriage especially
what you describe as a clot the size of
the end digit of your thumb.
I remember something like that happening
to me in 2005. I heard something fall
into the toilet and I flushed the toilet
quickly because I was so scared and never
wanted to look.
