Q: Symptoms of internal organ swelling or enlargement

When i lay on my back the left side of my rib cage feels and appears raised it also goes to a rounded point at the end were the right side seems shorter and feels as though the end is flatter is this normal??

It is hard to say if the left side of your rib cage is raised more then the right side without a physical examination. If the left side is raised for several centimeters, then a swelling or enlargement of an internal organ might have occurred. You might want to visit your family doctor for a physical examination. He might want to refer you to a specialist for gastrointestinal diseases for additional examination (X-ray, ultrasound).
