Muscular and Nerve Disorders Answer A5402

The fact that the symptoms run in the family for several generations indicates that a genetic disorder might be the problem. No data can be found about the symptoms you reported: loss of muscle control, strength and balance that are triggered by low temperature and return by themselves after a time or in a higher temperature.

You might want to visit a neurologist for further examination. He might want to perform various tests: basic laboratory tests, electromyography, Electroencephalography and do certain tests to determine whether “cold” antibodies are present. “Cold” antibodies are antibodies that exist in the body, but are functional only at extremely low temperatures. But it would be very hard to answer the fact that the symptoms disappear spontaneously after a time without a change of the surrounding conditions.
