Current medical status: Around a month or maybe two months ago during sex i suddenly experienced EXCRUCIATING pain right at the entrance of my vagina. I figured I wasn't lubricated enough, as this is a common problem with me, and that this caused a possible tear or scraping of skin. I shrugged it off, figuring it would go away. When I kept experiencing the same horrible pain in later times during sex and even when just wiping after going to the bathroom or even just sitting, I sat down and tried to see for myself what the problem was. I have a very small cluster of skin or tissue at the entrance to my vagina which as far as i know are normal and have always been there, and when i looked at myself i noticed a very very slight swelling in a piece of that skin on the left side. When i tried to touch it to move it and see if there was any visible injury, it hurt so badly i involuntarily cried out. I have not noticed any discharge or pimple-like growth or anything, and the swelling is very minor. I told my husband of this and we have stayed away from sex or even foreplay for about a week now and the pain and swelling are nearly gone.
Referring to the symptoms you reported, you might be experiencing a skin inflammation. The inflammation might be caused by infection, but not necessarily. The bacterial vaginosis is sometimes really difficult to get rid of completely. The friction during intercourse can also cause it. A topical anti inflammation and antibiotic cream might help a lot. Oral sex did not cause this condition if there was not contact of the affected area with the male genital area. The infection might have also been transferred via another part of the body (for example, the hands) if it was in contact with the male genital area and immediately after with the affected area.
