An Elisa HIV test 6 months after exposure is enough to exclude AIDS. Each of the conditions you reported: repetitive tonsillitis, boils on the face, and the vaginal infection in your girlfriend are signs of another infection. Most of the boils are caused by bacteria, for example, Staphylococcus aureus. The vaginal infection can be caused by both bacteria and fungi. All of the infections can be a sign of a decreased immune system, but AIDS is not necessarily the reason for it.
