Q: Symptoms of a pregnancy

OK, so I started experiencing pregnancy symptoms shortly after ovulating. I felt nauseous, mild vomiting, my breasts were sore, always tired, bloated, etc. My period was two weeks late. I took a "First Response" pregnancy test and the results were negative. I thought I was pregnant once before, tested negative, and then later found out I had a miscarriage.

I just started light bleeding- I thought it was spotting- but then it became heavier. The bleeding isn't like my "normal period", its much lighter. I still feel nauseous, mild vomiting, bloated, and fatigued. I am curious to know how heavy spotting supposed to be? Should I see a doctor?

i had this to ...
i thought i was preg last month had many symptoms and started bleeding 3 days after my period was due but it was lighter than my usual period but heavier than spotting! and it only lasted for 4 days and normally im on for a full 7 days and i took a test and it was negative (but it was from the dollar store im getting sick of spending like 15 dollars and getting BFN all the time)would that have anything to do with it? now im having all kinds of symptoms i feel huge and know i have gained weight and have been feeling nauseous more, my nipples have been burning and itching, gassy , heartburn and more! im starting to think that maybe the test was wrong and im actually pregnant but my period should come around the 17th so if i dont get it by then..then ill go get a blood test..do you think the test couldve been wrong?

i know what you mean....
I'm physically feeling the exact same way! I bought one of the pregnancy tests at walmart... but those aren't always accurate. I did some extra research and found that the excessive bleeding- lighter than a period and heavier than spotting- could actually mean that your egg has been fertilized and is "nesting" in you. Once it has found a "comfy" spot- the bleeding should stop... hence the irregular period. Because we're creatures of habit, it also could be your body trying make your body have a period- even though you're not supposed to.
I'm just like you...waiting to see if I miss my next period before I go bet a blood test done. Thanks for responding, I don't feel so alone anymore... : )

yeah me to ..are you wanting to be pregnant?? i could really care less i mean if i am then i would be super happy!! but if not then thats ok to bc i am in college..but my husband and i do not use any kind of protection except pulling out..which we know isnt safe but oh well and im not on the pill so theres always a chance i could be pregnant..well it would be nice if it was "nesting" in me and that it found its spot bc once i start to think about being pregnant i get excited =) when is your period due??

agree...
Well, birth control didn't work for me at ALL! It made me EXTRA fertile and thats how I had my first miscarriage. My period was due two weeks ago- and now I'm spotting... I think. I think I'm gonna wait it out and see what happens in a couple of weeks. Then I'm planning on going in to the doctors to get a blood test.

My husband and I are just using Ortho Options Conceptrol Gel...you can find it at walmart by the condoms and such. It has worked out really great for us and has no side effects like birth control had.

I understand what you are going through- my husband and I weren't planning on getting pregnant- just practicing...lol. We've almost been married for a year, so it's not too soon but it could have waited- know what I mean??? We want to be excited but at the same time we are really nervous and don't want to get attached. It's been really hard on him because he doesn't feel like he can do anything to fix how I feel. How is your guy dealing with it? I'm taking all of the necessary precautions- no alcohol, no caffeine.

I'm not very emotional with little things, but all of the mixed emotions are so frustrating. I'll definitely keep you posted. If I find out anything else, I'll let you know. Good Luck!
