Ectopic pregnancies (a pregnancy in the falopian tubes) can be a problem, but if nothing showed up on a test and you're not dead yet, and still able to move around, I wouldn't worry too much about it being an ectopic.
I once went to the doc about missing my period, with accompanied stomach ache and increase in urination. Come to find out, even though I was a couple weeks late, it is common for a woman to miss at least 2 periods a year! And I had a Urinary tract infection as well as an ulcer!
Also, stressing about your period will not make it come any faster. Sometimes stressing so much will hold your period off for quite a while.
Cramps and other aches or pains (such a tenderness of your nipples and not the whole breast) can be common symptoms of ovulation (what happens right before your period) or PMS (which can happen for awhile before your period in the case of some women).
If you feel you maybe pregnant, you may keep taking pregnancy tests, but chances are that tar-looking stuff was a miscarriage.
If you still have issues, I'd suggest trying a better physician if it gets to bad you can't even walk. If the Urgent Care you went to is anything like one of them I went to in Las Vegas, they aren't worth a damn.
I hope this helps you....Feel better
