i am having frequent urination and severe hot flashes what would cause this?

The symptoms you reported might be related to a urinary tract infection. A urinary tract infection is characterized with frequent, painful urination or burning urination.


You might want to visit your family doctor for a urinary laboratory test and a urine culture with antibiogram that will exactly determine the bacteria that caused this condition, as well as the most effective antibiotic treatment.


Meanwhile, you might drink more fluids to flush as many of the bacteria as you can. Drinking cranberry juice might also be helpful.
