I am 31wks pregnant, and have had epstein bar virus for 4 yrs. now. I haven't had any swollen glands during this whole time but in the past few weeks have developed quite swollen and itching labia and an "insecure" feeling in the crutch. the past few days have added a sensation similar to inflammed neck muscles causing turning my head to be uncomfortable. I did not experience any of these feelings in my first pregnancy and would like to know whether this is normal or maybe related to the virus as i've heard that it can be aggrivated during pregnancy.

I believe that none of your symptoms (swollen and itching labia, neck stiffness...) is related to Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) infection.

Swollen labia could be due to local vein blood stagnation which is very common during the advanced pregnancy.

Itching labia could be due to a local infection or an allergic reaction.

Uncomfortable neck movements could be due to slight neck muscle inflammation which will probably pass spontaneously without treatment (painkillers).
