hi, it is somewhat unusual term but I would assume your Dr. is referring to uterine appendages and in this case your left side, could be a cyst ovary which is common , possibly he refers to fallopian tube but at any rate it is a cyst in the area and generally these go away on their own.
Always try to make Dr. explain till u fulling get it.
