I'm in need of some answers or advice.

I have had extremely swollen tonsils for 2 months now. They are so swollen there is barely a gap in my throat. My throat is so sore that it is painful to swallow, breath, sleep, sneeze, etc. My voice has been soft and raspy for almost 2 months. I also have a new lump on the side of my right tonsil. I have seen 4 doctors about this. I have been swabbed 3 times for strep throat and had blood work taken. I came positive the 2nd time for strep. I took penicillin as directed for 10 days. After the anti-biotic the same symptoms returned. I got swabbed and still had the strep throat. I took Bioxin (sp) as directed for another 10 days. While taking the antibiotics everything calms down. However, 1-2 days of not taking them and situation occurs again. The last doctor I saw said that because my throat does not have any white puss in it, clinically I do not have strep and she will not waste another swab(nice, i know). Apparently biologically I am not a carrier and will always test positive for strep. However, 2 months ago my throat was fine. No redness, no bump, no swollen tonsils, no sore throat. Something is seriously wrong with my throat. It is going to take 8 months to see a specialist. Im just looking for some advice or help because i don't know how much longer i can have soup and yogurt. Twice since this has happened my left eye has turned pink for about 2 days
