HI my name is Brittnee and im 18 years old.
A few days ago I was laying on the couch and it just felt like everything just stop working in the upper part of my body. My nose gott really dry, and my mouth did also. I dont no what's wrong with me. My doctor put me on antibiotics cuz she thought maybe I had a sinus infection. Im done with the antibiotics and I still see no improvement. I've tried the salene nasal spays, and also the anhistamine pills. I've tried clariton, clariton d, and sudafed. Nothin seems to work. Can someone help me, or give me some suggestions on what I should do. This is the first time this happened to me so I dont know whats wrong. I'm trying to get in contact with my doctor but she wont be back in till monday. My symptons are still the same, and i just dont no what to do. My nose is really dry, and It seems like the mucus is not flowing through. I dont feel congested. My throat feels funny, and my front glands are swollen. Im not sure whats wrong.
Help Please!

Hi
Hey Sweetie, Not sure whats up with you either, as I am no medical professional, I am Mom though and I will at elast try to help you. Gargle with warm salt water to help your throat. If your throat is sore, you might dilute a capful of hydrogen peroxide into 8 ounces of water and gargle. This will help to kill the bacteria that is causing your sore throat. Suck on hard candy or throat lozengers to keep your throat coated also might help. Drink lots of fluids, especailly warm liquids like chicken broth, or soups that will help "open you up". Hope you find relief on Monday and start to feel better soon. Hugs!

I have the exact same thing going on!
I've gotten relief from breathing through a hot wet wash rag, but that's about it! I have cotton mouth, and my throat feels weird, kind of sticky. I have a cough that is seldom productive, and have just finished two courses of antibiotics. Sometimes it feels like there's a big lump in my throat and it's hard to swallow. I don't know what it is either, but if you get any answers please, let me know!
