My girl friend is 25 years old. Had a bit of bad luck with her health last few months, I feel i should list them incase they are correlated.

She got some sort of lung infection and was given some anti-biotics for it for about 10 days. The coughing improved but she still coughs daily and now uses a puffer, she went for an x-ray this week but no results yet.

Then on the 18th she found a swollen lymph node on her neck on the left side, on the 20th one by her left ear appeared and this morning she found one in her nose.

She's gone to the doctor and got a blood test today for CBC. The nodes are swollen and growing slowly, they are also quite painful. She gets fevers on and off, as well as a bit of nausea and fatigue.

I'm extremely concerned for her, and her doctor seems to be taking his sweet time. I was hoping I could get some answers here or maybe a direction to go in...

I'm glad she went to the doctor and he has taken the first step by drawing blood. Surely anything negative will reflect on her test results. It has been a while since you have posted have you heard any news from the doctor??? If not I may have a suggestion but do not want to inflict any extra worries.... Let me know if you've heard anything.... Good Luck
