swollen lymph nodes in the messentery and axillary areas?

User Profile
I have swollen lymph nodes in the messentery and axillary areas possibly groin and aortic. I also have escessively high blood sugars that were recently well controlled with insulin. I am exhausted and have headaches, blurred vision, night sweats and joint pain. No one is finding a reason for anything. What do I do?

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.I am glad to help you out. In view of the enlarged glands at multiple sites, it makes sense to do a fine needle aspiration or a biopsy from one of the glands and send the same for histopathological examination.

In view of the night sweats, joint pains and you being a diabetic, there are 2 possibilities – the first being tuberculosis and secondly a lymphoma (tumor of the lymph nodes).

The biopsy will give a definitive answer for the same. The treatment will depend upon the underlying cause. I’ll suggest consulting a physician for the same. I sincerely hope that helps Take care.
