About three weeks ago I woke up with a small lump on the right side of my neck. It did not feel painful or uncomfortable, since then, the lump has tripled in size and is now the size of a golf ball. It has become sore, due to the skin stretching around the lump. The lump is very hard and is causing a lot of pressure from my jaw line to my neck. Is there anyone out there with the same problem? I was hoping that it is not a serious problem. My insurance lapsed and I have to wait a few weeks before my insurance becomes effective again. At which time I will visit a doctor, until then, I was hoping to hear what it might be. Please advise....
