I am a 22 years old male. I stopped smoking 4 weeks ago. I have a swollen lymph node just beside my Adam's apple. I have another lymph node swollen under my right jaw. When I go to talk or eat my right ear aches. My jaw also aches but not so much. The right part of my nose is always jammed. I have tried few antibiotic but nothing's changed. Is there any possibility to have cancer in my throat or what is the actual problem out there?

Hi bryan,

I can understand your situation. Cancer is just 0.4% possibility in people who have swollen lymph node. So there are more infection which will cause swollen lymph node.

firstly please go to ENT and ask him to take fnac test. Fnac is a simple test in which they will take sample from your lymph node using syringe. Also get the culture of the sample. This will surely give you a relief.

I had similar situation recently. just terrified cause of cancer fear. Thank god its not cancer.
