i was diagnosed with mono back in october of 2008, it was terrible for me i was sick for almost 6 months and i have never felt the same since... i have noticed a lymph node behind my right ear the size of a pea.. i don't know how long its been there i know when i had mono i had aching behind my ears and head and neck.. but i never felt to see if there was one behind my ear.. is it of concern that i have this behind my ear? i am terrified of having lymphoma.. even before iwas diagnosed with mono i convinced myself i had lymphoma.. is it possible for the node behind my ear to be left there from the mono? thanks

Yes, it's possible that it is left over from the mono. Lymph nodes can swell in response to fighting a cold, infection or allergies, etc... My allergies bother me so much that there is a swollen node behind my right ear that has been there for over a year. If it makes you feel better, you can always ask your doctor about it but I don't think it's cause for concern.
