I have swollen lumps on the back of both ears, directly behind my ears. They have come on in a matter of hours, at first it was just one now there are 3. They are hard and tender to touch, non-moving. To add it has caused both sides of my neck mild pain and the left side of my jaw. Is this something I should worry about, and I have no insurance so seeing a doc will be difficult.

Most of the time, tender lumps behind the ears are caused by inflamed sebaceous cysts or lymph nodes. Unfortunately, however, it is not possible to provide a specific diagnosis to patients over the internet. If these lumps do not resolve over the next 3 to 4 weeks, you should try to find access to a physician or nurse for an evaluation.
