Q: Swollen , hot , painful , bumps on leg
asked by: DoctorQuestion on May 25th, 2008
what could this be? I still feel like it's superficial blood clots. I've had this problem for a year now, it happened after my surgery, i hit my leg really hard and a bump formed, after a couple of weeks it broke up in to two bumps that moved apart from each other, they are hot to the touch and painful, after a while one will disappear leaving skin discoloration and then a new one will pop up close to where the other one disappeared, and now after taking the baby asprine for a week a bump has formed on the right underside of my calf. any idea's on what this could be?

Current medical status: swollen hot painful bumps on left leg that disappear and reform on a different part of the leg leaving skin discoloration. i went and had a dopler reading done, dopler because i'm 11 weeks pregnant , and the person said their was nothing their.

It is hard to get any idea without a clinical examination (inspection and palpation) of those moving bumps. You may want to consult a dermatologist about your condition.
