Hello,

I am recovering from glandular fever (infectious mononucleosis). I have been home on bed rest for the past week and a half. Minus the fact that I am tired all the time I seem to be on the mend and getting better each day.

2 days ago a gland in my armpit became swollen. About 12 hours later a second joined it in the same armpit and last night I noticed what I would think to be another swollen gland right below my right nipple.

I know with Mono the infection is all over the body and swollen glands are normal. Is it normal to have several in the armpit and on the nipple all swollen at once?

Thanks

yes, this is consistent with the disease. Mononucleosis is self limiting and all the symptoms will go away in time. Rest is the most important factor is getting well.
