Swollen foot with small black/blue bruise marks after flight

you might have a blood clot in your foot or calf. i'd go have a doctor check it out right away, because if it is a blood clot, they'll want to anticoagulate you so that the clot gets resorbed as quickly and completely as possible and doesn't cause permanent damage to your veins or have a piece break off that ends up in your lungs. make sure you tell the doctors that you noticed this after an airplane flight.
