swollen bowel on right side

Hi Zig,
yes,have followed up with doctor.Am now going to have a colonoscopy to see whats going on....im really scared.I saw a consultant today,and he said he will do the colonoscopy for me as i am so anxious,but i am using my private medical insurance,he said if i wasnt going privately he probably wouldnt of suggested it,and would of left it to see if all settled down.I just feel like gas is blowing me up on my right side/bowel ,and it hurts.any ideas,i would be most grateful..

hey, I too been suffering with swellin in my right abdomen jut beside my navel, have been suffering with stomach pain and diarhha. Doc thinks I have one of 3 things inflamed stomach, Blocked bile duct, or IBS.. i am hoping it ibs... try cutting out fatty and gressy foods take more greens and fruit. it helps me hope it helps u

i have the same, major swelling in right side of the naval, nothing seems to relieve it, but have had a major bout of stomach flu so i imagine there must be some inflammation too....hope it goes down soon! hard to bend over!!!
