So, my girlfriend and I have been having sex for a while, and she's been on the pill for around 5-6months, she ALWAYS takes it at the same time every morning and never forgets to take it. Well, due to financial constraints she switched from the 28 day pill to the 21 day pill... basically same strength, same everything (according to her, "just the generic version," she says")

Well, she is 5-6 days late from when you normally has her period. Could her switching pills have made her late?

Oh, and the last two time we've had sex, once 2 weeks ago, and the other 1 week ago we did not use a condom. While I did pull out, it wasn't 100%.

Thank you very much for your responses,

Anything is possible...
Yes, changing her birth control can make her period late. It's also possible that she is pregnant. Unfortunately, you will simply have to wait and see if her period arrives. In the future, make sure you wear a condom. It doesn't hurt to double up on birth control methods. And it can save you a lot of unnecessary worry.

Did she recently make this switch?

It's possible the switch is causing the change in her cycle, especially if the pills aren't exactly the same.

If she's late, then she is good to take a pregnancy test. But I really wouldn't panic too much if she's been taking her pills correctly.

Well, she just switched to the new pills, this (if she has a period) will be her first one with the new pills.

Lots of assumptions to make...
We have a lot of assumptions to make. I would agree with deteragram and get a pregnancy test as no birth control methods are 100%. If she gets the pregnancy test, try it more than one time for accuracy just to be sure as these tests are not accurate either. Good luck!
