I am on nuva ring and have 1 more week til I remove it. I was given seasonique today and want to start taking it to skip my period. Can I do this? Do I need a back up method? Will I have bleeding? Please help!

Do not take seasonique while you have your ring in.

During the week you take your ring out, start your pills. Its likely you'll spot anyways, but you can give it a try.

Use a back up for a week of perfect use of your pill-- just in case.
