According to a recent announcement by the CDC:

"The outbreak of disease in people caused by a new influenza virus of swine origin continues to grow in the United States and internationally. Today, CDC reports additional confirmed human infections, hospitalizations and the nation’s first fatality from this outbreak. The more recent illnesses and the reported death suggest that a pattern of more severe illness associated with this virus may be emerging in the U.S. Most people will not have immunity to this new virus and, as it continues to spread, more cases, more hospitalizations and more deaths are expected in the coming days and weeks."

Fortunately, it seems that the virus responds to anti-viral drugs, however early detection is key to successful treatment. As more information becomes available, or if you have been diagnosed, have had direct contact with patients, or are a health practitioner, we would love to hear from you. Reduced Immunity
Is there a higher risk if you are already suffering a viral infection such as chicken pox or measles?

Do I have swine flue? I hope not i have all the symptoms, all listed under if you have two or more, wont go into details, I think i got it from someone at work, Whats the best way to get back at him I feel miserable, even though it kinda seems like the symptoms are mild but my throat hurts bad and i cant breath well, i dont feel like talking since i dont sound like my normal self, and its somewhat exhausting, If that guy got me sick I hate him because its been 3 weeks now, i thought my body went into detoxify since i stopped smoking. Nope im a swine flu victim unless its something else havent been to the docs yet. Will keep you updated.
