Based upon your description, this sounds like axillary breast tissue to me. In some women, singificant breast tissue is present in the armpit area. After pregnancy, this axillary breast tissue will enlarge just like the rest of the breast, and will shrink again when breastfeeding has been stopped.

Since it is impossible to provide a specific diagnosis for patients over the internet, you should ask your personal physician to examine you to ensure that there are no clinically suspicious breast or axillary masses in either breast.
