I have a sore lump swelling on roof of my mouth just behind my two front teeth perfectly centerd from left and right. Bout the size of a small finger tip. Sticks down far enough to impare speach. Not an ulcer. Not an injury. Not a burn. Comes and goes. Lasts about a week. Cant associate it with anything i ate (possible alergy). Can you name what it is? I drink wisky and water ocasionally and smoke about 5 cigarettes a day. I brush teeth only about 2 times a week.

I would have this checked out...Nowadays the first thing the dentist does is to check your mouth, including your tongue for any signs of a growth that could be a problem...It would be a wise thing to do....
